planetbox product concept.
During my summer internship in 2016, I delved into the realm of product innovation for a forward-thinking lunch box company. With a focus on eco-friendly solutions and promoting bulk food purchases, I set out to conceptualize new countertop food storage solutions that aligned with the company's ethos.
After extensive brainstorming and prototyping, my final concept emerged: a watering can-shaped container that not only embraced the company's existing green lids but also offered versatile functionality. The incorporation of these lids as covers not only showcased sustainability but also ensured compatibility with the company's existing product line.
Designed with practicality in mind, the container featured various spouts, each tailored for different food dispensing methods, whether pouring or scooping. The smaller green lid, already a staple product within the company, added an additional layer of convenience and brand cohesion.
Moreover, the lids were ingeniously engineered with ridges, facilitating effortless stacking of containers and optimizing countertop space utilization. This thoughtful design element not only enhanced storage efficiency but also reinforced the company's commitment to user-friendly solutions.
This innovative concept exemplifies my dedication to merging creativity with functionality, offering a sustainable solution that resonates with both consumers and the company's eco-conscious mission.
