motherwell.

In the spring of 2016, I embraced the challenge of transforming a familiar guide into a tangible work of art. Inspired by the captivating abstraction of Robert Motherwell's "Little Spanish Prison," I embarked on a journey to recreate this masterpiece in a three-dimensional form.

Using a palette of wooden dowels, wooden blocks, and vibrant paints, I worked to translate the essence of Motherwell's composition into a tangible sculpture. Each element was carefully crafted to capture the nature of the original painting, from its dynamic forms to its expressive color palette.
