chair sculpture.
In the spring of 2016, I embarked on an artistic challenge: crafting an interactive sculpture that would captivate and engage its audience. Drawing inspiration from the classic wooden block and wire games often found in doctor's offices, I set out to reimagine this nostalgic concept in a fresh, innovative light.
Utilizing a combination of meticulously crafted wood blocks, elegantly shaped and welded metal rods, and durable cord, I brought my vision to life. Each element was carefully chosen to not only ensure durability and longevity but also to evoke a sense of tactile wonder and visual appeal.
This interactive sculpture served as a testament to my creativity and craftsmanship, offering viewers a whimsical journey through a blend of traditional materials and modern design sensibilities.
